Maiko
Maiko Women's Drum & Poetry Ensemble was founded in 1983 and incorporated under the umbrella of SJMAG in 1987. Maiko's powerful performances uniquely fuse African, Latin and Brazilian drums and percussion instrument with body movement, expression and spoken word to celebrate and honor the triumphs and achievements of women of diverse cultures.

Teatro Familia Aztlan
Chicano/Latino Theater Ensemble presents an annual season of two plays by Latino writers and conducts numerous in-school performances and residency programs. Founded in 1986, Familia Aztlan's artistic vision is committed to developing and performing new productions based on the artistic history of ancient and contemporary Chicano/Mexicano and Latino culture.

Tabia, based in San Jose, is in its twentieth season of performances in the Bay Area. The name Tabia, is a Swahili word for "talented", and represents the creativity, devotion and diversity of the Ensemble's pool of artists.
